DESCRIPTION:Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM\n\nEach December\, thousands of peopl
 e gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of G
 eorge Washington’s daring 1776 Christmas night river crossing. During the
  event\, several hundred reenactors in Continental military dress listen 
 to an inspiring speech by General Washington and then row across the rive
 r in replica Durham boats. This year marks the 250th Anniversary of the C
 rossing which took place on Christmas Night 1776.\n\nOn Friday\, December
  25th\, celebrate the 74th annual Christmas Day Crossing Reenactment from
  12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (actual crossing at 1:00 PM). Arrival by 11:30 AM is
  recommended to secure a good view. Admission is free\, thanks to proceed
 s from the First Crossing and contributions from many generous donors.\n\
 nRiver Crossings are contingent upon safe weather conditions for particip
 ants. However\, even if conditions do not allow for crossing\, guests can
  still participate in historic ceremonies\, speeches\, and commemorative 
 colonial-era activities.\n\nWashington Crossing Historic Park is located 
 at the intersection of Routes 532 and 32 (River Road) in Washington Cross
