 make it yours and take this self-guided walking tour of the 6 private res
 idences and the 8 public buildings featured this year.\n\nFor full detail

 ’s website at newtownhistoric.org/housetour\n\nHouses on the tour are 115
  Washington Ave.\, 204 E. Penn St.\, 15 Liberty St.\, 125 N. Chancellor S
 t.\, 192 N. Chancellor St.\, and 203 Washington Ave.\n\nPublic Buildings 
 open to tour-goers are Anthony Petsis and Associates\, the Newtown Librar
 y Company\, Half-Moon Inn\, Old Presbyterian Churchc Newtown Fire Associa
 tion\, Newtown Borough Hall\, Dave & Mary Callahan Research Center\, and 
 The Stocking Works.\n\nTour hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It includ
 es entry into the Half-Moon Inn\, home to the Newtown Historic Associatio
 n. Once inside this beautifully restored 18th-century building\, tour-goe
 rs will enjoy period musical entertainment\, hearthside colonial cooking 
 demonstrations and refreshments of mulled cider and cheese.\n\nPlease\, n
 o picture-taking\, and high-heeled shoes are not permitted in the houses.
 \n\nAll proceeds from the tour benefit the Newtown Historic Association a
 nd its programs dedicated to the preservation of Newtown’s historical her
